Traditional vegetable, rich in vitamins and minerals, with white and long roots, resembling carrots. They have a pleasantly sweet taste reminiscent of something between carrot and pumpkin. Plant them near carrots or onions for better growth.
Sowing Tips:
Sow: in lines every 30cm on the ground, at a depth of 2cm, from February to June.
Thinning: from April to July, leave one plant per 20 x 30 cm.
Harvest: from April to October.

Apart from the carrot, with which it shares many characteristics, the parsnip belongs to the celinoid family. Parsley is also a similar looking vegetable.
